The Spinkrer Files
Soul - Danger - Growth
A standalone Tale of Eldoria
I want to give you a full short story, free, no strings attached: The Last Watch of Iron Pass, a standalone Tale of Eldoria. It is not a scene cut from The Soulbound Saga - it is set generations before Aedric is even born, so you can read it cold with zero spoilers and zero reading order required.
This is the first standalone short story from the world of Eldoria. The plan is to write these every now and then, so you get a chance to learn more about things that have not fit into Aedric's main story.
One night. One pass. No reinforcements.
Karda Flintvein has spent her career doing quiet gate duty while older warriors write her off. Then an earthquake cracks the mountain open, hundreds of refugees start pouring toward Iron Pass - and something enormous wakes up beneath the stone and comes after them.
Thirty soldiers. One untested watch-sergeant. A pass that has to hold until the last refugee is through.
